How to Grow an Indoor Herb Garden: Videos Included
Did you know we have an online course that is devoted to herbs? The course covers the proper techniques for harvesting, cleaning, and storing your precious herbs. The course is great and we get a lot of positive feedback from students but I’ve always known it was missing something important. The one thing we don’t cover is how to grow herbs. When we designed the course our herb garden was well established and we really didn’t have the time to start or space to put any more plants. Since we created that course we’ve made a lot of changes in our garden and in our growing set-up. What am I trying to say? We’re finally ready to show you how to grow an indoor herb garden!
HERB GARDEN SERIES
We will be doing the blog post on a weekly basis but we will be updating Instagram almost daily! Videos on YouTube will be as needed meaning some weeks may have a couple of videos and some only one. A quick link is in the sidebar for the series and in the top menu under gardening.

We’ll cover everything you need to know to grow a successful herb garden. We’ll even cover how to transplants those plants outside when the time is right if you want to. HERB GARDEN SUPPLIES
The supplies for growing herbs can vary depending on the type of set-up you want and the location of where you want to grow your garden inside. I decided to do the videos and blog posts using two different set-ups. The first is a herb garden kit that includes everything you need to have delivered right to your door. The second is more of a do it yourself set-up.
WHEN DO WE START?
I’ve ordered my kit and supplies and one set will be here tomorrow (Monday) and the other will be here Wednesday. My plan is to start the first set on Tuesday and the second set will be started on Wednesday afternoon. Please keep in mind I’m in nursing school and I am taking summer classes. that means I will do my best to answer questions within 24 hours with the exception of Thursday/Friday. I will have a supplies blog post going up tomorrow and on Tuesday I’ll do a detailed video showing the kit to you.
